Despite its popularity, law experts have warned users of Facebook that their bosses could be using the site to spy on them.

In a survey of Irish businesses, 8 out of 10 bosses admitted logging on to check if absent workers were pulling a sickie, with some actually saying that they used the site to suss out potential employees.
